Is the North Sea Wind Power Hub the future for North Sea offshore wind?

In this lunchtime side event the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in association with the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, Tennet TSO and The Crown Estate present an overview of the developments offshore wind. This seminar aims to discuss the future of North Sea offshore wind in light of the innovative plans for a North Sea Wind Power Hub. It will touch upon interconnectors, regulatory matters and much more.

Our speakers are:

Ruud de Bruijne from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency, with an overview of current developments in offshore wind from a Dutch government perspective, Rob van der Hage from Tennet TSO, on the challenges of offshore grids, and William Apps from The Crown Estate giving us the UK perspective. After which there will be a discussion followed by a networking opportunity.
