Helen Fairclough, the UK National Contact Point (NCP) for Energy in Horizon 2020, will be available for 1-2-1 meetings with delegates.
The EU Energy Focus service is a free UK Government-funded service, that aims to ensure that UK organisations are well informed and have every chance of success in securing European funding for energy-related projects. The service includes confidential, one-to-one discussion of proposal ideas and review of draft proposals. The UK NCP can provide support to any proposal involving a UK organisation and is part of a network of NCPs across Europe so can also signpost non-UK organisations to support in their countries.
Horizon 2020 is the European Commission’s research and innovation funding programme. UK organisations continue to be eligible for European funding. The Treasury will underwrite the payment of such awards, even when specific projects continue beyond the UK’s departure from the EU. 25M€ is available for offshore wind energy projects in a Call for Proposals which closes in September 2017.
